Coming down the stairs is the most mouthwatering, incredibly gorgeous man I’ve ever seen. Gage was good looking when I knew him as a teenager; but the man standing before me now is absolutely breathtaking. Gage is about half way down the staircase leading into the foyer when he looks at his mother, and stops, realizing she isn’t alone. His eyes turn to me and heat spreads over my whole body. His gaze slides up from the open toe heels on my feet and work their way up my bare legs, then to my hips, then up to my breasts, then finally to my face – where once his eyes meet mine – his look of total appreciation and enjoyment of the female body slowly dissolve into a realization. A recognition. Our gazes never shift from one another and all of a sudden the air in the foyer becomes thick. Judy cuts the silence by saying, “Gage, you rem-...” “Laken,” he finishes her thought, almost breathlessly, with his eyes never leaving mine. “...Yes – Laken,” she continues. “Laken was just leaving, she brought over your favorite dinner – Mrs. Bennett’s lasagna – that’s what you smell and I need to go check it. Laken, thank you again. I will see you Friday at the luncheon.” I break my attention from Gage to Ms. Scott – who is already on her way to the kitchen – I call to her, “You’re welcome.” The voice leaving my body doesn’t sound like mine – it’s too soft, too breathy and too sexy. I slowly turn my attention back to the movement on the stair case. Taking in the bare feet slowly sauntering down the stairs in my direction, my eyes travel up distressed, washed out denim clad legs. The unbelted waistband of the jeans hangs low on his waist and meets a tight gray t-shirt, drawing attention to chiseled abs and an athletically defined muscular chest. Rippled arms lead to broad shoulders and a thick neck. I notice slightly long ebony hair, still damp from a shower. His square, sculpted jaw is shadowed with a couple of days’ worth of unshaved growth and frames the most delicious set of lips I’ve seen on a man. As he reaches where I’m standing – my eyes find his again. His irises are an intense blue. The boy I knew melted away into this sinfully gorgeous creature standing before me. My name on his lips still hangs thick in the air and chokes me.author bio

Review: I got this book for my birthday. I think this book is really good I think jack and his mother sounds really nice and l think it is nice that they make their own fun and games. This is a great storyline. I think jack's mother needs to go to the dentist with her teeth so she is not in pain anymore. Jack is a brave boy even though he is only 5 years old. I am really enjoyed this book. Jack and his mother call pain relief killers. Jack and his mother only have each other as company until old nick comes to bring them stuff their need but jack's mother wants old nick to bring them vitamins but old nick says they cost too much. Jack was born in the room where their live now. Jack's mother is breastfeeding jack and still is. I wondered if Jack's mother family miss her like she misses them. jack has never walked outside and never wore shoes in the five years since he was born and jack's mother does not own a pair of shoes either. I was sad to read that jack's mother was kidnapped by old nick. It was sad to read that the only way jack could get out the room was to play dead. Jack and his mother are so brave. I am addicted to this book it is hard to put it down. I heard it is being made into a movie. I would love to watch it. I would love to read more about Jack and his mother. I hope old nick goes to jail where he belongs. I hope jack and his mother are reunited with their family.Jack's Mother takes everything old nick so he does not hurt jack her precious son. It was sad to read that the year before she had jack she give birth to a baby girl that sadly did not live that long and old nick buried the baby in the garden under a bush but jack's mother told their lawyer about her daughter. The year after the tragedy of the loss of her baby daughter she give birth to jack in room by herself this time when her daughter was born old nick was watching the cord had knotted around the poor baby neck. I was sad to read that l am glad old nick is in jail where he can not hurt anybody. I am glad jack's mother was reunited with her family who thought she was dead and had a funeral for her. her mother and her father split up after she disappeared. there is 401 pages in this book. there is 5 different chapters in this book one is present, two is unlying, three is dying, four is after and five is living. I highly recommend this book l can not put in to words how great this book really is. Jack's mother is going to the dentist and getting her teeth sorted so she is not in pain anymore. It was sad to read that jack's mother took a overdose glad she survived. Jack is making great progress outside room. I was happy jack's sister's body was found so the family could give her a proper funeral and proper grave so the family can take her flowers and teddies or just visit the baby girl's grave. jack's mother can name her daughter and get her a headstone for the baby girl that never got to see the world before she went to heaven where she gets to watch over her family.

Review: This book was real easy to get in to but it took me a long time to finish this book because l had a lot going on. I have read 3 books by Giselle green which are little miracles and finding you and this one. I was sad to read that rose's mother had passed away and her father had a accident which means he can not be left alone but rose wants to go to university so she asks her uncle, his wife and their daughter to look after him but they want to put in a nursing home it is sad to read that sunny will have his leg amputated if her does not get to the united kingdom for a operation.  Lawrence is going to ask his mother to   sponsor sunny to get him to the united kingdom to have his operation so he does not have his foot amputated. Lawrence does not want to come face to face with his father because his father attacked him and give him a black eye. I would tell people that you should step outside your comfort zone with books because it is good to add more authors and genres to your reading portfolio l read books of this genre but l have started reading other authors and genres as well. I was sad to read that Lawrence was the person who attacked rose's Father because he was in the barn on their land but Lawrence did not see who it was because it was dark in the barn and he thought it was his father. This book is a really great book and l highly recommend it to anyone. I can not wait to read more from Giselle green. I really like this storyline. Lawrence's father sounds evil. Wish Lawrence's mother and brother would get away from him. This is a great storyline. I would love to read more about Lawrence and rose. I hope sunny get his treatment so he does not lose his leg l hope his family is found so he is not alone in the world. It was sad to read that Lawrence's father locked him and his brother away till morning but it was mainly Lawrence he locked in. It sounds like Lawrence's father thought that Lawrence was always the naughty one not his brother. I was sad to read that Lawrence's father killed his dog kahn l want to read more from Giselle green she is one of my favorite authors the first book l read of Giselle was little miracles l had to buy the follow on finding you. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was nice to read that when rose fell on the ice and cut her leg and banged her head Lawrence saved her and carried her to the church and stitched her wound for her and lite a fire to warm her up. Rose Was out on christmas day to get the tablets her father needed. She would do anything for her father. Rose sounds like a great lady and Lawrence sounds sorry for what he did but he also sounds like a great guy who been though a lot at the hands of his father. This book has 439 pages. I would tell people to read this book for themselves to see how great it really is. It was nice to read that Lawrence help rose's father jack from choking and passed him his inhaler that slipped out of his hand l hope that jack takes the treatment but without selling their house and l hope Lawrence gets the help he needs to get sunny to the united kingdom for his operation to safe his leg. Rose's uncle and auntie wants to put jack in a nursing home but rose does not want that. Jack made a promise to Isla rose's mother not to let the macrae get their hands on the clare farm. It was sad to read that rose made her mother ill but she did not and Lawrence told rose that. Lawrence helped people move a fallen tree so the roads could be cleared of the snow. Lawrence wanted to see his mother and brother but after the attack on jack five years ago he thought he was going to end up in jail. It was a war world 2 bunker that rob macrae use to lock Lawrence in till morning and Lawrence told jack everything. I am happy to read that sunny's sister found him and is taking him to live with her. I was happy to read that rose got her letter to say she had been accepted. I was sad to read that Lawrence told his father to sign clare farm back to jack and rose so rob macrae attack Lawrence he is bleeding everywhere but his brother walks in on the attack but their father shuts the door in his face. Lawrence has his father's gun in his belt. I was happy to read that rose got in to the university she wanted and that jack was going to give the treatment in new York a try. I hope Lawrence and rose get together even though their father's are enemies and Lawrence accidentally attacked jack five years ago thinking it was his own father. I hope Lawrence survives his father attack and his mother and brother takes Lawrence's side because it sounds like they are scared of rob. I was sad to read that rob give Lawrence's mother a black eye no man should ever hit a women. I am hoping rob gets sent to jail where he belongs. This books is awesome l could happily read it again and again l can not wait to buy more of Giselle's books.
