Review: I found this book really easy to get in to and harder to put down once l started reading it. I was hooked on this book after reading the first page. I can not put in to words how great this book is. I would tell people to read it for themselves to know how great it really is. I love how christmassy this book is. This book is perfect to read at christmas time or even winter but l would read christmas books all year because christmas is my favorite holiday.when l was reading this book l would put some essential oils in my humidifier and put the lights on my humidifier and chill on my bed listening to magic, spotify or something on television or netflix. I sometimes light a candle when l am reading this book. It is good to chill reading a good book when you are not well or in pain. I reviewed this book on goodreads, my blog, amazon UK and US and l also took a picture of this book and shared it on Instagram that l made just for pictures of my books. It is called donnareviewsbooks. I was sad to read that Otto's wife and baby passed away I was happy to read that somebody give him a snow globe because it had an angel in that looked like his late wife and he could pass it down through generations. It was really good to read that Otto found a new wife and their had a new baby. I was sad to read that Kiley's sister and fiancee cheated on poor Kiley it must be horrible going to family dinners and parties and seeing the guy that cheated on you with her sister. I was happy to read that Kiley found the snow globe because it sounds like she needs a christmas miracle, l like that Kiley got a cat to keep her company. It was nice that Kiley met Craig because she deserves happiness after what she has been through. It was really nice that Kiley give Suzanne the snow globe but it was sad that Bryn tried to get it off the fireplace and ended up falling but glad Suzanne catched her but l was sad to read that Suzanne broke her leg and ended up on clutches. Suzanne should get Bryn the dog she wants and l hope Suzanne does not break the snow globe l hope she passes it on to Alison or back to Kiley. I would happily read this book again and again. It did not take me long to read this book. I wish l had the snow globe because it sounds beautiful and everybody needs a christmas miracle. I was happy that Suzanne got Bryn a dog it was a shame she did not get happy. It was nice if Alison to go visit the old folks home and give out cookies. I was really happy Kiley and Craig got engaged and Suzanne was going to have another baby. It was great to read Kiley, Suzanne and Alison went to meet the last of Otto's family and Alison had seen the lady's living room and the lady and herself having a cup og tea together in the snow globe. It was great that the three best friends left the snow globe on the boat with a note saying if you need a christmas miracle please take it. I think they should of put on the note when you had your christmas miracle please pass it on to somebody else.

About the author: Shelia Roberts lives on a lake in the pacific northwest. She's happily married and has three children. She has been writing since 1989, but she did lots of things before settling in to her writing career, including owning a singing telegram company and playing in a band. Her band days are over, but she still enjoys writing songs. Shelia's books are best sellers and often appear as reader's digest condensed books. Her novel “ angel lane” was named one of amazon's top ten romances in 2009. her novel “ on strike for christmas” was a lifetime network movie and her novel “ nine lives of christmas” is now a hallmark movie. When she is not speaking to women's groups or at conferences or hanging out with her girlfriends she can be found writing about those things near and dear to women's hearts: family, friends, and chocolate.

About the book: the bookcover is very christmassy and l like the picture of the snow globe and l like that the writing is yellow and white because it makes it stand out more.

Synopsis: How I suicided not is a story about the author's life and experiences, from birth until her early thirties. It tells about how she went from mostly happy childhood and young adulthood to depression, anxiety, and poverty, which did not help – her mother nearly died when the author was nine, and the 1979 swine shot was the culprit. Mary Weldon put herself through college, got a scholarship, studied in france, and developed depression and a eating disorder. Ultimately, self help books and the local clinic as well as a few hospital stays helped her to choose life. Some relationships faltered and did not succeed, but she kept her chin up and kept her faith in god.

Review: I found this book really easy to get in to and hard to put down once l started reading. I was hooked on this book after reading the first page I was sad to read that mary's mother nearly died after having the swine flu shot when mary was nine years old I am glad she survived. I was sad that Mary's mother and father split up when Mary and her sister was younger. The family that mary stay with when she was in france sounds like a great second family I was sad to finish reading this book. I was sad to read that mary lost family members on both her mother's side and her father's side. It did not take me long to finish reading this book. I can not put in to words how great this book really is l would tell people to read it for themselves to know how great this book really is. I like that Mary and her sister finished school and went to college. I love that Mary went travelling I was sad to read that a lady that Mary was staying with passed away it was nice of mary to go to her funeral. It was very sad to read that one of Mary' housemates mother passed away due to cancer. Mary was there for her housemate and went to her funeral. I would love to read more about Mary, her family and friends and her life. I was sad to read that Mary's mother passed away at the age of 70. Mary's father always sent his two beloved daughters money to help with stuff for school, college, clothes or food. I was sad to read that Mary tried to commit suicide twice I am glad she is still alive. I am in love with this book. I was sad Mary's now ex – boyfriend was stalking her. I was happy that Mary's mother got married again and l was happy Mary's sister finished college. I am happy that Mary found someone to look after her and they are engaged to each other. I hope Mary and her fiancee have children once they are married. This book is truly amazing I wish to read more from Mary Weldon. I was sad to read what happened to poet when he was younger. I was happy that Mary got a job but her ex – boyfriend and his girlfriend was there in the place where Mary was working. I am glad Mary hid so he could not see her. It was nice to read that Mary wrote that if poet's daughters wanted to know anything about their father or need help to contact her publishers and Mary would try to help them the best she could. I was sad to read that poet's daughter's mother passed away and his daughters where left with somebody that was not their father I think his daughters should have been given to their father. Poet sounds like a great father. He also sounds like he writes some great poetry. I wish I could read some of his poems. I really enjoyed reading this book. When l was reading this book I would put some essential oils in my humidifier and put the lights on and chill on my bed listening to magic or something on TV or netflix.

About The Author: Mary Weldon lives in the northern part of New York where she has a cat and dog as well as a fiancee. She has been writing since she was 12 years old, when she wrote 300 pages of stories based on Greek mythology. Currently she is working on a sequel to this book, and after that a book about god for children, and next a retelling of the stories she wrote at 12 – 14 years of age mentioned above. He was a field medic for american friends service committee (Quaker),a former jazz musician, and has built over 100 houses for habitat for humanity. He won the 2014 broad sided award, the 2014 Dylan Thomas international poetry contest, and editor's choice in rattle's ekphrastic challenge (June 2015) he has more than 20 chapbooks to his credit plus 11 full – length volumes, including the national ecological award winner searching for what you cannot see (hiraeth press, 2013) . It was very sad to read that Johnny's mother left him on the door step of a police station when he was just 16 mouths old and he was moved from foster home to foster home. Glad Johnny has his own apartment. I was sad to read that Jacqui's father passed away. I was sad to read that Megan lied to Johnny so he ended their relationship which broke his heart. I was glad that Johnny was writing songs about the hurt he feels and his heart break. I wish I could rate this book more then five stars because it is worth more then five stars. I can not put in to words how great this book is I would tell people to read it for themselves to know how great it really is. I got this book in paperback right now this book is available ebooks and printed reading copy. I reviewed this book on goodreads, amazon UK and US and on my book reviewing blog. I got a advance reading copy of this book. I was sad to read that Megan's father passed away. I am glad Johnny found out where Howard was. I was sad to read that Howard's wife passed away due to breast cancer. After reading that Howard has a son named Josh makes me wonder where he is now. It was nice of Johnny to write a song for Andy's girlfriend. It good to read that Johnny has a album coming out soon. It is sad that Megan's mother is planning a engagement party for Megan and Gerry even though Megan has not said yes as she still loves Johnny and deep down Johnny still loves Megan. I thought reading this book that how Megan's mother can do that to her daughter and I wonder if Howard sees Johnny as his son Josh. Howard sounds like a great guy even after what he has been though. I am really enjoying reading about everybody in this book. I wish Megan and Johnny would get back together and Jacqui would come back to Andy they sound like they make great couples. I want Megan to marry Johnny not Gerry. I would love to read more about Johnny, his life and his friends and career. I would love to read more books by this author. I wish Megan told her mother that she was going to be with Johnny no matter what she said. I was sad to read that Megan's husband Gerry was hitting her and he sounds like a horrible guy hitting a pregnant woman. It was nice of Johnny to send Megan a wedding present. I hope Gerry goes to jail for hurting Megan. Megan's mother should have let her be with Johnny because they love each other and Megan would not have been beaten. It is funny that Katherine thought Johnny was never going to be any good for Megan and now he is a famous singer . It is weird why Katherine is following Johnny's progress in the papers. I hope Megan and Johnny get back together. I am happy that Andy and Jacqui are getting married and Jacqui is designing album covers after she designed one for Johnny and Andy is now Johnny's manager. It was nice of Johnny to buy Howard a new car, a brief case and a notebook with his name on and johnny was nice wanting to record the song Howard wrote for his son so his son Josh knows he has not forgotten about him after all the years that has passed I hope father and son are reunited again. Howard sounds like he is a great father. I like that Johnny is close to his foster mother and she always believed he was her little superstar. I hate that Katherine got a picture edited to make it look like Johnny and Andy was boyfriends when Andy was engaged to Jacqui and Johnny was in love with Megan still. They could tell the picture was fake. Katherine made it look like that Gerry bought them the apartment for Gerry and Megan but it was Katherine who bought the apartment to make Megan marry Gerry. I was sad to read about the bombing in New York. Johnny wrote a song about the bombing. I was sad to finish this book. I loved reading the song words in this book. I am sad that Megan is going to be a single mother but l believe she be a great mother and she will let her child be with anybody that makes them happy not like her mother did to her and Johnny. I can not wait for Andy and Jacqui get married. I hope they have some children I hope they name one after Johnny because he was the one that fetched them back together with his song that he wrote when she went away because her father sadly passed away. I am glad Andy and Jacqui are still together. I am so glad Megan got rid of that monster her husband become I can not get enough of Johnny's songwriting Johnny deserves to be happy after everything he has been through I hope Howard finds his son Josh l am glad this book is on my bookshelf I wish there was a follow on to this book. I  am glad Megan kept her baby because it is not the baby fault that the father beat Megan. I was sad to read that Megan went in to early labour but her son was born healthy and Johnny sent Megan and her son Alex a gift basket and l am so glad that Johnny met Megan's baby it sucks that somebody tried to make it look like Johnny was injecting drugs. I am in love with this book. I am happy that Megan named her son after her grandpa. Megan sounds like she makes a great mother. Megan's mother should listen to Megan when she tells her she needs nothing. It sounds like she trying to take over Megan's and her son's life. Megan's mother Katherine tried to tell Megan what to name her son. I like the name Megan picked for her baby boy. I am glad Megan stood up to her mother. I was happy to read that some of Johnny's music was still being played. I was very happy to read that Howard's son Josh heard the song his father wrote for him when he was younger and he went back to his father with his baby boy Jeremy I was sad to read that Jeremy's mother went out for diapers and never returned leaving Josh to raise Jeremy on his own. It nice that Howard got himself a girlfriend and the house was being updated and baby proofed. It was nice that Howard was watching Jeremy so Josh could work and go to college. I was happy that Johnny pulled off the concert in the park for free. I was sad to read that Megan fall from her apartment but l was glad to read that she survived l am glad Megan asked Johnny to look after Alex until she recovered from her injuries. Megan's mother did not like that Megan wanted Johnny to look after her grandson and that she did not want her to look after Alex. It was nice that Zach told Johnny he was great at singing. I would tell people that you should step outside your comfort zone with books because it is good to add more authors and genres to your reading portfolio. Even if you do not read books like this.

I normally read books of this genre but l also stepped outside my comfort zone with authors and genres l am so glad l did because l have read so many great books and come across some great authors.

I highly recommend this book.

Review: I found this book really easy to get in to. I found this book hard to put down once l started reading it. It did not take me long to finish this book. I can not put in to words how great this book is I would tell people to read it for themselves to know how great it really is. I wish l could rate this book more then five stars. This book just gets better and better as the story goes on. This book will leave you wanting more I would happily read this book again. I like reading about Nelson and Simone and them falling in love and travelling to different place and seeing different scenery . I am enjoying reading this book and sometimes l would cuddle up with my cat when reading this book. I got lost in this book and storyline very easily. This book will take you away. This book is addicting book and storyline. I would love to read more about Nelson and Simone and more from Douglas Cowie. This book is so romantic. I wish Simone would move to Chicago to be with Nelson and they would get married and have babies. I like that Nelson and Simone went travelling together. It was sad to read that all the pictures they took when they was travelling did not come out clearly. Simone went to Chicago and Nelson went to Paris and he got to meet all Simone's friends and Simone met all Nelson's friends too. I really enjoyed reading about Nelson, his life and Simone and her life. It was nice to read that two people with different lifes and from different parts of the world fell in love. Nelson got to meet Sartre who Simone is always going on about all the time. It was horrible to read that people was calling Simone names the people who was calling her names sound jealous of Simone and her success. Poor Nelson being sea sick it was funny though. It was funny that Simone threw Nelson's favorite clothes overboard in to the sea on their journey. This book is truly amazing. I wish this book world not finish. I was sad to finish this book. I was hooked on this book after reading the first page I loved this book it is so romantic. Twenty thousand copies of Simone's book was sold I was happy to read and everybody was happy about it too. One of Nelson's books was reviewed in the times. I love reading romance novels. It was nice to read that Nelson was helping Margo to get off drugs I hope she cleans herself up and goes back to her family. It was great to read that Margo got off the drugs. Nelson and Simone sound like they make a great couple. There is nothing better than relaxing with a great book. I am happy to read that Nelson and Simone love to read books too and that they are both writers. Nelson and Simone meet when she rings Nelson to ask him to show her around Chicago. This book made me think that Nelson and Simone fell in love the first day they hat met. They sent letters to each other back and forth from Paris and Chicago. Sounds like Nelson wants children Simone. It sounds like Nelson also wants to marry Simone.

About The Author: Douglas Cowie was born in Elmhurst, Illinois, and since 1999 has lived in both England and Germany. He teaches in the department of English at Royal Holloway, university of London. He is also the author of the novels Owen noone and the marauder (2005) and two linked novella's, sing for life: tin pan alley (2013) and sing for life: away, you rolling river (2014).

About The Book: I really love this cover. The colours are really nice. I love that there is more then one colour on this book cover. My favorite colour is one of the colours and my sister's favorite colour is one of the colours too. I love that the inside of the book cover is a map of Chicago which I think is amazing.

I am glad this book is on my bookshelf. Review: I found this book really easy to get in to l was hooked after reading the first few pages. It was horrible to read that Jane's fiancee left her on their wedding day to do work. Jane wants to find somebody to marry her before her birthday she will be 27 she goes to the bar in her wedding dress. I enjoyed reading this book and about Jane and Rose. I would like to read more from this author. I got a arc of this book. This book has 421 pages and 38 chapters in it. Jane's fiancee did not leave her on their wedding day like she told Leo. She was the one who left Andrew on their wedding day. Andrew was heartbroken. Leo took most of the money they won leaving Jane only a bit. I was sad to read that Jane left her fiancee on their wedding day. this is a great storyline. I can not put in to words how great this book really is l would tell people to read it for themselves to know how great it really is. Leo and Jane know they can not stay married. Leo does drugs and like drinking and Jane does not do drugs or drinks. Jane wants Andrew to make a fresh start without her. Rose wants to join american red cross but she is not twenty one but Sylvia is going to help her get papers saying she is twenty one. Being part of american red cross is one of Rose's dreams. I was sad to read that Leo's great auntie was ill but Leo wanted to take Jane home to London with him so he could see his great auntie and let Jane meet his great auntie and maybe the rest of his family which l think is nice but Jane told him they could not stay married. It was nice that Jane agreed to go with Leo to see his great auntie who was very poorly and he wanted them to act like a happily married couple. Jane went along with the plan to act like a devoted wife for his great auntie. Leo's great auntie was called Rose. His great auntie made Jane and Leo stay for dinner and get to know Jane more. It was sad that Leo's great auntie has cancer. Leo's great auntie Rose loved Jane and was happy Leo had married Jane. She thought Jane was beautiful. Rose was working as a american red cross lady and she meet a bomber named Danny. Her friends tried to keep Danny and Rose apart. It was hard to put this book down once l started reading it. I Love reading books about war and the olden days. I can not get enough of this book. There is a bit of sex,drugs and drink in it but id is a great book. I hope Leo gets off the drugs and drink because he and Jane makes a great couple. It was sad that Danny's friend Phil died when his plane went down in flames. Rose was heartbroken by the news of Phil's death. Leo's mother was in town visiting Leo's great auntie Rose. She was coming for dinner Rose knew it would be the last time she sees her. Leo's great auntie Rose had stage four secondary liver cancer she was on painkillers she had months maybe weeks to live. Danny has not written to Rose she fears the worse. It was nice of Jane to go and talk to Leo's mother. Leo sounds horrible for not going to hug or talk to his mother he should have talked or hugged her because she give him life he would not be alive if it was not for his mother. Leo's great auntie Rose was Rose who was a american red cross worker. This book is full of surprises. Jane thinks Leo come back for his auntie's money Leo come back for his great auntie's. Leo said it is not the case he come because he loves and cares about her not her money. It was nice of Edward to be building a house to help people who lost everything due to the war. I fall more in love with this book as l get through more pages. This book gets better and better. Jane loves how friendly Leo's great auntie and mother is. They both sound like great women. Edward sounds like a great guy who wants to help people after the war which is a really nice thing. It was sad to read that because Danny put a ring on Rose's finger that he thought he could take anything he wanted from Rose. Danny raped Rose and she wanted nothing to do with Danny. Jane wants to stay married to Leo . There is 424 pages and 38 chapters in this book. it is good that Leo is trying to change his life around hope he stays off the drugs. I feel for Rose after what she been through l hope she does not get pregnant by Danny. Danny sounds like he thinks he can take whatever he wants from women. I hope Rose does not get together with Danny and she founds someone who loves her and won't hurt her and she she finds a guy she will happily marry and have kids with him. I would love to read more about Jane,Leo,Rose And Leo's mother. I can not get enough of this book. I have enjoyed reading this story. I like that Jane and Leo told Rose she needed stronger pain relief. Jane wanted to hear all about Rose's past which Rose happily told her. It was nice that Rose knitted a teddy for the children who Edward was helping and took them chocolate bars. It was horrible to read that the 4 adults and 3 children was so skinny and scared and they was hidden in a cellar for two years because they was Jewish. Jewish people who do not hide are sent concentration camps some of the Jewish people would die in in the camps and some of them would be rescued. Rose helped the adults to chairs while Edward made them a drink and got them something to eat. It was sad to read that there was a bombing in London and Rose's house was left in rumble and Rose did not know if her friends are alive or dead. Edward was there to support Rose and to help her. I feel for Rose having lost all her belongings and maybe her friends too. Rose was heartbroken. All Rose's friends died and Rose went to identified Maggie's body because she had no family. Rose was full of soot but she had no clothes to change in to. Rose went to all her friends funerals. Edward was there to say goodbye to Rose's friends. Rose and Edward loved each other but Rose was scared of being raped again. Edward would not hurt Rose in any way. It is really horrible to read that Rose is in so much pain. I hope Leo and Jane stay together as husband and wife as they make a great couple. This is a great book and storyline. It was sad to read about Rose's death and she wanting to be back with her friends. Leo and Jane took Rose's death hard they was heartbroken. Jane hide under the bed after Rose's passing away. Rose told everybody want she wanted to wear in her coffin and she did not want a open coffin. They was going to ask Rose's hairdresser to do Rose's hair the way she liked it. I would love to know what secrets Jane is hiding. I hope Leo and Jane have a baby together if they have a girl they should name her Rose. Leo made peace with his mother. It was sad that Jane was made to do things no child should do and she was raped by many men. Jane killed a man who raped her and she ran away from home and she meet Charles on the train he paid for her ticket. I am glad everybody stay in touch after Rose's death. Jane and Leo stay together as a married couple and Rose was reunited with all of her friends after her death she was also back in the arms of her one true love Edward they was all dancing on the dance floor in rainbow corner where their journey started. Rose seen Danny from time to time but she was safe in Edward's arms. Danny lied to Rose when they meet he said he loved her and would marry her but he was already married with two children and Edward told Rose that Danny was back with his wife and two children.
