In the presence  of those furry companions you don't have to be a dog person to be delighted by this loving, humorous tribute to god's creations, but those who are blessed by the love of a good dog will be especially moved to smile, shed a tear, and feel their heart ascend to higher places.

Review: l found this book real easy to get in to and l liked reading about the dogs and it is a great book to read and it is a most have on your bookshelf and l am glad this book is in my library and l was sent this book for a honest review and this book is good to read if you are a animal lover like myself l have a cat and a dog they are both sleeping next to me as l write this review and l could not live without them in my life. I like when they both join me in bed l had cats and dogs my whole life. I want to say thank you to bostick communications and the author for sending me this book l love that the dogs in this book are treated like part of the family. I was sad to read some of the dogs passed away. my cat and dog are a big part of my family and they even get christmas presents they both have a stocking too. I love when my cat and dog cuddled up together. 

About the author: Annette marie spiezio lives in naperville, Illinois, with her partner, Nancy, and four dogs. Annette is a counselor by profession, and she and Nancy own and run a private practice, Spiezio and affiliates. They enjoy the simple things in life, gardening, their pool, their dogs, and the company of family and friends,for  whom they are ever so grateful. Where I Got This Book From: I bought this book with some money l got given for my birthday and l got it from the works.

I would tell people that you should step outside your comfort zone with books because it is good to add more authors and genres to your reading portfolio even if you do not read books like this. I normally read books of this genre but l step outside my comfort zone with authors and genres l am so glad l did because l have read so many great books and come across some great authors

This book have 432 pages and 22 chapters.

I highly recommend this book to anybody even if you are not in to this type of book it is good to read outside your favourite genre and try something new and improved your reading portfolio to different types of books and genre and authors.

Rachel life changes when she inherits the house she makes new friends human and dog kind but she also falls in love. Can Natalie and Johnny let Bertie go when the time comes? Zoe starts helping with dog walking when her ex-husband has their two boys and her pup stays with Rachel at the house everybody who helps walk the dogs get a big bacon sandwich and a brew before going on walks with them. Zoe has to go though her auntie's personal stuff to see what is there. There is letters from her auntie one true love and hidden gems everywhere you would not think to look for them. Rachel's family want some stuff from the house. She is the one who is left to find it for them. Rachel inherits a dog named Gem that never left her auntie side. Rachel's Mother says do not turn out like your auntie.

Review: This book is a really romantic one but with added love for dogs. It it a book l could not put down once l started reading it. I found this book really easy to get in to I was hooked after reading the first page. It is heart-warming know Rachel ends up loving Gem and the other dogs and she finds new friends and even falls in love. Rachel is so kind to everybody she really friendly and easy to get along with. Rachel's mother sounds jealous that she inherited the house and everything in it. I loved reading this book. This book won the pure passion awards 2010 RNA romantic novel. I bought this book because l liked the cover and l read the back and it sounded a good book and it was very good book. You will be swept off your feet with this book. Everybody who bought this book also loved it. I wish l could rate this book more than the 5 stars l rated it because it is so good. I wish there was a follow on to this book as l would love to read more about all the people in this book and the dogs.

About the author: Lucy Dillon grew up in Cumbria and read English at Cambridge. Then read a lot of magazines as a press assisant in London, then read other people's manuscripts as a junior fiction editor. She now lives in a village outside Hereford with two basset hounds, an old red range rover, and too many books.

One small act of kindness is lucy's sixth novel. The people are made up, But the basset hound, unfortunately, Is not. Lucy won the romantic novelist's association contemporary romantic novel prize in 2015 for a hundred pieces of me, and the romantic novel of the year award in 2010 for lost dogs and lonely hearts

About the book: l love the cover and the picture on the front cover and l like that the colour is not too dark or too bright and l like the font use in this book.
